UPP launches new member service experience

University Pension Plan (UPP) is thrilled to announce the launch of our service experience. Starting August 12, 2024, all UPP members will receive direct pension services and support from UPP’s dedicated team of experts. Members can now also access the myUPP Member Portal—a one-stop shop for managing their pension, designed to provide streamlined support and secure access to their pension information.

Access to dedicated pension experts: Starting August 12, all UPP members will receive direct support from UPP’s Member Services team via phone or secure messages in the myUPP Member Portal.

The myUPP Member Portal: This secure, easy-to-use platform features accessible information and resources to help members manage their pensions. With the myUPP Member Portal, members can:

  • Communicate with UPP via secure messages.
  • Manage personal information, such as contact details and spousal and beneficiary information.
  • Access new documents, such as annual statements and pension-related tax slips.
  • Upload documents securely and conveniently.

More features to come
In the coming months, as part of our phased fall service launch, members will gain access to additional tools and resources, like the Pension Estimate Calculator. This tool will allow them to estimate their future pension using various scenarios, including different ages, dates, and pensionable earnings increases. We will announce these features as they become available.

This service experience results from a strong partnership with our participating university employers and employee representatives, ensuring our service model meets current needs while remaining adaptable for future innovations.
