Your annual statement
Keep reading to learn when your 2024 annual statement will be ready, how to access it, and why it’s a key tool for staying on top of your pension and planning your retirement.
When to expect your 2024 statement
Your 2024 statement will be available in the myUPP Member Portal by the end of June. You’ll get an email when it’s ready to view. If you’ve requested a mailed copy, it will arrive in June as well.
Go paperless and get earlier access
If you requested a copy of your statement by mail, you will receive it in June. However, you can access your statement earlier online, where you will always be able to view a copy, eliminating the need for saving paper copies.
Trent Staff and Victoria University members
As our newest members, you’ll receive your annual statement from your previous plan administrator this year. Starting next year, your annual statement will come from UPP.
Your annual pension statement is your personalized snapshot of your UPP benefits.
Each year, by the end of June, your UPP annual statement will be available in the myUPP Member Portal. Whether you are actively working, have a deferred pension, or are already enjoying your pension, your statement provides a personalized snapshot of your pension.
Your statement includes:
Your key retirement details
If you’re still working or have a deferred pension, review your accrued pension and key milestone retirement dates.
Your pension payments
If you’re retired, view your monthly and annual gross pension amount and the retirement option you selected.
Your personal details
Ensure your contact, spousal, and beneficiary information is accurate and up to date.
How to access your statement
Your statement will be available in the myUPP Member Portal by the end of June. You will receive an email notification when it is ready.
To view your statement:
Go to the Documents section
Click Documents in the left navigation panel.
Select your annual statement
Choose UPP Annual Pension Statement to view or download your latest statement.
Keep your information up to date
It is important to review your statement to ensure your contact, spousal, and beneficiary details are up to date. You can update this information anytime directly in the myUPP Member Portal.
Plan for your future
Use the Pension Estimate Calculator in the portal to see how your pension could change based on different ages, retirement dates, and projected earnings.
