UPP welcomes two new participating employers

This week, University Pension Plan (UPP) welcomed two new participating employers. As of April 30, 2024, the Association of Professors of the University of Ottawa (APUO) and the Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations (OCUFA) have officially joined UPP.

By joining UPP, eligible APUO and OCUFA employees can look forward to a secure and predictable retirement income for life. This significant step aligns them with their faculty association colleagues from across the province, including the staff of the University of Toronto Faculty Association, the University of Guelph Faculty Association and the Queen’s University Faculty Association, providing them with greater peace of mind in retirement.

“We are thrilled to welcome APUO and OCUFA as UPP’s newest members,” said Barb Zvan, UPP’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We’re grateful for the ongoing efforts of UPP’s Joint Sponsors, our partners at OCUFA and APUO, and all those across UPP who are dedicated to delivering on our vision of providing secure, lifelong retirement income for the university sector.”
